๐Ÿ‘‹ Hello! My name is Xia Zhou, and you can also call me Ivy. Here is "Ivy in Data" โ€” a personal space rooted in the soil of data, where thoughts freely spiral and grow like vines. I have a professional background in accounting and finance (Master's degree from the University of Adelaide), and I have also moved across education, corporate and creative fields. I believe that rationality and sensibility can interweave, just as data and stories, logic and imagery, can all become languages for understanding the world:
๐Ÿ“Š In the business and data fields, I use tools such as Python, Excel and Tableau to carry out projects ranging from customer analysis, sales dashboards to housing price fluctuation reports, and I am skilled at extracting strategic insights from data.

๐Ÿซ During my time teaching at university, I taught courses including Microeconomics and the Application of Excel in Financial Management, nurturing students' quantitative thinking while honing my own ability to clearly dissect and communicate complex issues.
๐ŸŽจ As a freelance illustrator, I constantly explore narrative and expression through visual creation, which also makes me pay closer attention to structure, aesthetics and storytelling in data visualisation.
Currently, I am pursuing a career as a business/strategy analyst, looking forward to transforming my analytical skills, business intuition and cross-disciplinary experience into sustainable business value.
This blog documents some of my data analysis projects, technical practices, essays and creative notes. May I grow like a vine, gradually extending between data and humanities, and creating lasting connections.
